At Greater Life, you're not just a face in the crowd; you're a cherished part of our community, destined to experience the profound impact of divine love and fellowship. Our Spirit-filled church is home to a diverse congregation that includes Baptists, Wesleyans, Methodists, Apostolics, Pentecostals, Lutherans, Catholics, and other religious backgrounds that are pursing a deeper connection to Jesus Christ through His Spirit. This rich tapestry of faith traditions enhances our collective worship and understanding, making us a unique and welcoming community for all. Join us on a journey of faith, healing, and renewal. Where we come from

Greater Life emerged in 1969, originally named Faith Apostolic Lighthouse, in Sims, Indiana, under the guidance of Pastor William Mouser. Merely two years later, due to an expanding congregation, the church moved to Greentown. Here, we built a new sanctuary, fellowship hall, and parsonage to accommodate our growing community. In October of 2007, Pastor Eric K Hall, together with Melissa and their family, were warmly welcomed and voted in as the pastoral family. Our congregation, both dedicated and faithful, has been fortunate to witness God's blessings firsthand, not only in our own lives but also in those of numerous individuals who have joined us. This culminated in our transition to the Greater Life Church family in 2015. By September of 2017, we had settled into our current premises, marking a period of continued growth and community enrichment.

Where we're headed

Our future shines with promise and clarity. As we passionately support individuals embarking on their spiritual journeys with God, our efforts are geared towards enhancing our current facilities. This includes updating our space to ensure comfortable seating and expanding classroom areas for our young members. In alignment with our mission to go, teach, baptize, and make disciples, Greater Life is actively planning for the future. We're developing plans for a separate 8.5-acre lot, acquired in 2012, with the vision of creating a welcoming space for families to gather and spend quality time.

Our commitment to growth and community outreach is further exemplified by our recent expansion. In December of 2023, we acquired an additional 7.8 acres of land, complete with a home and office spaces, adjacent to our current church facilities. This strategic purchase not only facilitates our mission but also supports our commitment to building as we grow, ensuring that Greater Life remains a beacon of hope and a place where everyone can find their future.
